Liverpool are reportedly preparing an offer for Fiorentina's Giuseppe Rossi.

According to ItaSportPress, the Reds are keen on the 28-year-old striker and are looking to make a bid of £18million in January.

Former Manchester United man Rossi has made just four Serie A starts for La Viola after missing last season with a knee injury but has scored twice in three Europa League outings which has alerted Liverpool.

The 30-time Italy international has reportedly been identified by Jurgen Klopp as a potential target for the winter transfer market provided he finds form and fitness in the following few weeks.
