Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to move for Porto winger Christian Atsu.

The Daily Express says Atsu has turned down a new contract at Porto in order to secure a dream move to England.

Brendan Rodgers is looking to boost Liverpool's attack that will be without suspended talisman Luis Suarez for the beginning of next season.

The Ghanaian international, a long-term target of Rodgers, rejected a four-year contact extension in the hope of securing a move to England.

And Rodgers now looks set to test Porto's resolve to keep the 21-year-old winger with a £7 million bid.
