Liverpool midfielder Lucas is on the verge of a move to Palermo, reports The Sun. The Brazilian joined the Reds in 2007 for £6million from Gremio.
Liverpool have rejected a £5m bid from the Serie A side but talks are continuing between the two clubs and are at an advanced stage.
The Merseyside outfit want at least £8m for the 23-year-old who started 32 of the club's 38 Premier League games last season.
