Liverpool are closing in on Espanyol midfielder Lucas Vazquez.

The Daily Express says the Reds are reportedly looking to pull off a deal for Real Madrid midfielder Lucas this summer.

The 23-year-old is currently out on loan at Espanyol, where he has scored twice in 19 La Liga appearances.

The Catalan club have the option to sign Vazquez on a permanent deal at the end of the season, but reports in Spain claim that Liverpool have joined the race for his signature.
