Liverpool can see a gap in the top-four door as the Champions League race continues.
The Reds beat Newcastle United 2-0 on Monday night to close the gap with fourth-placed Manchester City to just four points which has given manager Brendan Rodgers and his squad a sniff of a berth in Europe's top flight.
"We want to fight until the very end," Rodgers told reporters.
"We knew we had to win tonight, and we'll take that into the weekend. Manchester City have maybe opened the door up for the teams in below.
"So, for us, you've still got to win your games, and the teams above us are in an advantageous position. But for us, if we win our games and perform well, we'll see what happens."
Liverpool next meet Aston Villa in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Sunday before focusing their attentions on the trip to West Bromwich Albion on April 25.
