Liverpool are weighing up a sensational move for Everton fullback Luke Garbutt.

The Daily Star Sunday says Everton boss Roberto Martinez could lose left-back Garbutt, 21, to neighbours Liverpool when his deal at Goodison is up at the end of the season.

Everton, though, would be entitled to compensation for the Harrogate-born England Under-21 international.

Garbutt joined The Toffees for £600,000 compensation from Leeds United in 2009 and made his league debut for them last April.
