Liverpool have opened new contract talks with goalkeeper Brad Jones.

In recent seasons, Liverpool's failure to sign a deputy has seen Jones promoted to number two and for a while during this campaign he was preferred to Simon Mignolet.

"There have been discussions," said Rodgers.

"Obviously Brad is in his last year but there's been nothing resolved."
