Liverpool are willing to sell Dejan Lovren this month for a cut-price fee.
Lovren was not part of the Reds' opening day matchday squad, as Jurgen Klopp plucked to start with Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez, with Joel Matip primed on the bench.
AC Milan and Roma have both been linked with Lovren this summer - with the former recently the favourite for his signature due to their 'strong relationship' with the Reds.
But the Liverpool Echo says any potential suitors will have to cough up €15m (£13.9m) up front with add-ons taking the figure up to €20m.
Despite the transfer window shutting for Premier League clubs to sign players, Italian sides, and rest of mainland Europe, have until September 2 to complete any deals.
