Liverpool are being linked with Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
The Daily Star says Ter Stegen has admitted that he is frustrated with his lack of opportunities at Camp Nou, with Liverpool still keen on bringing him to Anfield.
The 22-year-old joined Los Cules in a summer deal that could rise to around £17million from Borussia Monchengladbach, but has failed to displace Chilean international Claudio Bravo as the club's No.1.
The German keeper has yet to make his La Liga debut and Liverpool chief Brendan Rodgers is again keen on signing ter Stegen, as a replacement for Reds keeper Simon Mignolet. "It's good to be at Barca but the situation is difficult. I'd be lying if I said I didn't care and it isn't easy being a spectator," he told Bild.
"I want to be the No.1 and I'm convinced that's something that will happen if I continue to improve and work hard.
"I can only try to prove that I am the best [of the two goalkeepers] and that's why I came here, so it's something I will fight for."
