Club Brugge goalkeeper Mat Ryan is being linked with Liverpool.

The Daily Express says he was goalkeeper of the year in Belgium in 2013-14 and Liverpool have checked on his form as doubts continue about Simon Mignolet's long-term future at Anfield.

Any deal would not be done in this window but could proceed in the summer if Ryan continues to impress.

Ryan is currently on international duty at the Asian Cup with the Socceroos.
