Liverpool midfielder Grujic: Honour to play for Kilnsmann at Hertha

Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic has enjoyed his first weeks with new Hertha Berlin coach Jurgen Klinsmann.

Grujic is on a season-long loan at Hertha and just experienced a change of manager as Klinsmann stepped in for the sacked Ante Covic.

The Serb told BILD: “It is an honor to train under him. He is one of the biggest names in German football.

"He reminds me of (Liverpool boss) Jürgen Klopp. His speeches are amazing. He is very calm, but still has a special charisma, like Klopp. Both need just a few words and as a player you want to be on the pitch and prove it to everyone."

Klinsmann, meanwhile, admits he wants Grujic to become the team's key midfielder.

He said, “I encourage him to get more and more balls and to help shape our switching game. The system lives on that. If Marko turns up a gear, that makes all the difference. It's hugely important that he is always in top form."
