Liverpool midfielder Ben Woodburn admits he's had a tough season.
Wales boss Ryan Giggs admits Woodburn has pushed himself into contention to start Sunday's opening Euro 2020 qualifier against Slovakia.
The Liverpool starlet, 19, scored a dramatic stoppage-time winner in Wales' 1-0 friendly win against Trinidad & Tobago in Wrexham on Wednesday night.
Woodburn is now back at Liverpool after a frustrating loan at Sheffield United was cut short in January.
He admitted: “It's been a tough season for me.
“I'm obviously back at Liverpool now - but I'm trying to push on and get some games.
“I got that with Wales and got the goal."
