Liverpool and Leicester City are interested in Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi.

Berardi impressed during Euro 2020 in a side where many felt Juventus star Fede Chiesa would be a nailed-on starter.

The Sassuolo attacker has already drawn interest from Leicester, but Corriere dello Sport reports Liverpool have made enquiries too.

The Reds have supposedly made contact with the player's agent and are intrigued by the fact he would be available for £35million, around half of Chiesa's valuation.

The 26-year-old has been with Sassuolo since a teenager, admirably sticking by them throughout their journey from Serie B.

Berardi was in red-hot goal-scoring form on the wing, bagging himself 17 goals which put him level with Lautaro Martinez in Serie A's top 10.
