Liverpool legend Bruce Grobbelaar is unimpressed by Brendan Rodgers' youngsters.
Grobb says they're still too inconsistent.
Grobbelaar said: "Brendan cannot rely on the youngsters all the time. He's got to use the older, tried and tested players. The young guys haven't got the stamina.
"Raheem Sterling, Jonjo Shelvey, even Joe Allen, if they can just give them a rest and bring on some of the older players, I'm sure that they will turn the season around."
Keeper Grobbelaar, 55, made 404 appearances in a 13-year spell on Merseyside. He said: "Liverpool fans must be tearing their hair out. One game they are brilliant, the next they are hopeless. The owners want to get things right. As long as they can progress and play good football, it will be a success."
