Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has returned to talks with Al-Ettifaq.

Gerrard confirmed talks with Al-Ettifaq last week, but stated he would not be taking the job.

However, Football Insider says talks have resumed between the two parties.

The former Aston Villa manager had seen the move stall last month over a disagreement regarding the make-up of his backroom team.

Gerrard had wanted an all English staff, while Al-Ettifaq had requested he include some locals.
