Graeme Souness is the latest to pay his tributes to the MLS-bound midfield duo of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard and Chelsea great Frank Lampard.

Gerrard will leave the Reds for LA Galaxy while Lampard is set to depart Manchester City to join New York City FC and the duo will leave a gaping hole in England's top flight according to ex-Liverpool star Souness.

"It's going to be different in the Premier League without these two," Graeme Souness told the 'Ed Chamberlin Audio Blog' on Sky Sports.

"The league would have been a lot poorer without Gerrard and Lampard. They have been fantastic - both of them, in their own separate ways.

"They will be sorely missed by the neutrals, their own supporters and the guys they shared the dressing room with."
