Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has urged Raheem Sterling to sign his new deal.

Fowler wrote in the Mirror: "Raheem Sterling has been buried under such an avalanche of advice over his future that he must think his head is about to explode.

"So, instead of adding to that blizzard, I have a very simple message for him.

"Help yourself get to Wembley - and Steven Gerrard get to Wembley, so that his last appearance in a red shirt will be in the FA Cup Final - and you'll get a glimpse of how you can fulfil your dreams at Liverpool.

"Wasn't that the message from his BBC interview last week - that he wants to chase his dreams and ambitions?

"Seriously, if young Raheem can help his team get to Wembley he'll see what a dream looks like, because there is no bigger club when they are in a final."
