Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has been named new coach of Saudi Arabian second-tier side Al-Qadsiah FC.

Fowler's appointment was confirmed by Al-Qadsiah today.

Al-Qadsiah finished 11th in Saudi Arabia's second division last season,

Fowler, who first entered management in 2011, has been coaching at Oxford United and also worked in India with East Bengal and Australia with Brisbane Roar.
