Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler is keen on the Bristol Rovers job.
Fowler has moved to declare his interest in the post at the Memorial Stadium which became available when Darrell Clarke left earlier this week.
Clarke had been at the club for four and a half years but left with them 21st in League One and four points from safety.
“I've thrown in a few [CVs] over the years, still waiting for a call," Fowler told Soccer AM.
“Bristol Rovers has obviously come up; would I be interested? Of course I would!
“I went over to Thailand and loved being a manager.
"People in this country think I'm inexperienced but I've done it before.
“I came home, did all my badges, I'm properly, properly qualified, so I think it's just a case of watch this space."
