Blackburn Rovers have seen their Norwegian boss Jon Dahl Tomasson leave the club.

He handed in his resignation over the club's poor effort during the January transfer window.

Now the club's owners, the Venky's, are looking at big names to come in as a replacement.

Per The Express, Fowler is one of those names being mentioned, despite his struggles in management.

Fowler departed Saudi Arabian second division club Al-Qadsiah in December, having won six of his eight games in charge.
