Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler is in the frame for the manager's job at Torquay United.
The Daily Star says the 38-year-old, who was last involved at Thai club Muangthong United as player-manager, is among the candidates to replace Alan Knill at Plainmoor.
Fowler is yet to take charge of a club in England, but it is well known that the Liverpudlian has long been keen on taking steps into management in his own country.
