Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish is shocked by the happenings at Cardiff City.
Dalglish wrote in the Mirror: "Why would anyone, let alone the club's owner, want Malky Mackay to leave Cardiff City? Why would anyone want him to go after everything he has achieved there?
"I don't know what is going on behind the scenes at the club but I do know that in recent years, they have got to the Carling Cup Final, won promotion and begun to establish themselves in the Premier League.
"There can't be much wrong with what Malky and the people around him have been doing when you look at that list.
"If Cardiff's owner, Vincent Tan, wants to mess with all that, it's his club so it's up to him. But it seems like a real shame."
