Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish rates Arsenal as Premier League title favourites. Dalglish wrote in the Mirror: "Mathieu Flamini is doing a good job as a holding midfielder, Aaron Ramsey looks like he's back to his best and Jack Wilshere will get fitter with every game.
"And then there's Ozil.
"When a player of his quality joins a club, it is bound to give everyone a lift.
"That includes the fans, obviously. And you can see that's what has happened at Arsenal.
"They got a lot of criticism when they missed out on Gonzalo Higuain and Luis Suarez but maybe if they had signed one of them, they wouldn't have been able to go for the Real Madrid playmaker.
"It looked as though they might implode when they lost to Aston Villa on the opening day of the season.
"But they didn't.
"They bounced right back.
"So they have mental strength, too.
"The rest are going to have to work hard to knock them off their perch."
