Liverpool legend John Aldridge says a new goalkeeper must be a priority for the winter market in January.
Aldo wrote in the Sunday World: "All successful defensive lines have confidence in the goalkeeper behind them and, while I'm a fan of Simon Mignolet's shot-stopping ability, his decision making when coming for crosses lets him down badly and Rodgers may have to make a change.
"If Liverpool could sign a new keeper when the January transfer window opens, it could give the defence a refreshed outlook mentally, but the danger is that this season could have spiralled out of control by then, unless improvements are made quickly."
