Liverpool legend John Aldridge says Brendan Rodgers gaffed sending Oussama Assaidi on-loan to Stoke City.

Aldo rates Assaidi a better prospect than on-loan Chelsea winger Victor Moses.

He told the Liverpool Echo: "Hindsight is a great thing but we would have been better off keeping Oussama Assaidi and not signing Moses. Assaidi has contributed a lot more for Stoke during his loan spell than Moses has for us."
