Liverpool are launching a bid for Manchester City defender Micah Richards.
The Mirror says Richards is a £7million summer transfer target for Liverpool.
The Manchester City defender, 25, is likely to be allowed to leave the Etihad after deciding not to take up a new five-year deal.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers believes Richards would be perfect for his squad as he can play right-back and centre-half, and only has one year left on his contract.
