Liverpool keeper Jones keeps first Derby County clean sheet

Brad Jones was able to keep his first clean sheet for loan club Derby County against QPR on Monday night.

The Liverpool keeper, on loan to the Rams, did the job as Nigel Clough's men got a well-deserved point against the English Championship league leaders.

In his fourth appearance for 19th-placed Derby, Jones performed well to keep the QPR attacks at bay, making a vital save in the 18th minute when Rangers skipper Adel Taarabt attempted to chip the Australian from outside the area.

The draw supplied Derby with a vital point as they moved nine points clear of the drop zone with four games remaining. They next take on 11th-placed Burnley at Pride Park on Saturday.
