Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan is set to undergo a medical with Championship side Wigan Athletic ahead of a loan move, claims the Daily Mail.

The Hungarian arrived at Anfield from Bolton Wanderers last summer but failed to make an impression under Jurgen Klopp.

The 28-year-old is expected to leave the club following the arrival of Loris Karius at Anfield from Mainz earlier in the summer and it appears as though he will now spend the season on loan with Wigan.

Bogdan managed six appearances for the Reds last season.
