Released Manchester United midfielder Josh Brownhill is catching the eye at Preston North End.

The Daily Mail says the 18 year-old was released by United last year and joined Preston's youth set-up. However, Simon Grayson recognised his talents and gave him a first team debut in October.

Fulham manager Rene Meulensteen knows him well from his time at United while Liverpool have shown a willingness to throw young players into the first team set-up quickly. Stoke City have also watched him recently.
