Liverpool are believed to be keen on a return for Israeli midfielder Yossi Benayoun.
The 32-year old Chelsea man is wanted by the Reds on a season-long loan according to recent reports.
The Blues are prepared to sell Benayoun for £3million but Liverpool are more keen on a loan following his decent form whilst with Arsenal last season.
Benayoun has been told by Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo that he will play no part this campaign and is determined to move away from Stamford Bridge.
