Liverpool have joined the battle for Cardiff City defender Steven Caulker.
The Fulham Chronicle says QPR will have to beat off competition from Liverpool if they are to complete the signing of Caulker.
QPR are interested in the Cardiff City defender but face stiff competition for his services in the shape of the Anfield club.
The lure of working with Brendan Rodgers is strong for the City man, having worked with the northern Irishman at Swansea City.
