Liverpool are hoping star striker Fernando Torres will return to action against Blackburn this weekend.
The Spaniard has been struggling with a groin problem in recent times and has missed the last three Reds games but manager Rafael Benitez says things are looking good for him to return for the Ewood Park clash which will mark skipper Steven Gerrard's 500th appearance for the club.
"The feedback we had about Torres yesterday was very positive and he was feeling good," he said.
"We will see how he is in the next training sessions, but it seems as though things are going well.
"It depends on how he feels during the week.
"He has to keep training with the fitness coach, but if he is feeling better maybe he can be involved in normal training sessions and afterwards we can decide."
