Liverpool hero Stephane Henchoz is unimpressed by Brendan Rodgers' attitude towards the Europa League.
Henchoz is now on the coaching staff at Bayer Leverkusen.
He told talkSPORT: "I'm surprised Liverpool are going to play so many youngsters. Playing away from home, even against Young Boys who are not a great side, Liverpool need more than just young players.
"I know the Europa League is not the Champions League, but I'm sure the fans would like the team to do well, take every game seriously and try to win them.
"It's difficult for Brendan. He's not got a big squad, especially up front where he has only Luis Suarez, so I can understand why he would leave him out for Sunday.
"But the Europa League is still a great competition and, when you look at the teams in it, Liverpool could go all the way."
