The Sun says Inter fullback Douglas Maicon is on his way to Real Madrid for £25million as soon as he returns from South Africa.
And the transfer will spark fears in Liverpool that Inter boss Rafa Benitez will use the fee to return to Anfield to lure Javier Mascherano from the Merseysiders.
