Liverpool are monitoring Luis Alberto's situation at Lazio.
Il Tempo says the Spaniard has been turning out for the Rome club for the past six seasons, but appears to have fallen out of favour with Maurizio Sarri.
And the 25-year-old is eyeing a return to former club Sevilla.
Alberto is under contract until 2025 and as such, would attract a fee of around £25million.
Liverpool will receive 20% of any sale, as part of the deal that saw him move to Lazio, so should the Sevilla switch be completed, the Reds will be in line for a £5milllion windfall.
