Liverpool have reportedly made a bid for Lorient defender Raphael Guerreiro.

According to the French club's vice-president, Alex Hayes, the Reds along with Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund have lodged offers for the 22-year-old left-back.

"For now four major foreign clubs, including Dortmund and Liverpool have made an offer, the fourth is expected soon to do so," Hayes is quoted as saying.

Jurgen Klopp has made no secret of his desire to sign a new left-sided full-back following subpar performances from Alberto Moreno and the recent departure of Jose Enrique.
