Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson says his aim is now a swift recovery from shoulder surgery.

The Scot is facing 3-4 months on the sidelines due to the operation.

Robertson posted to social media: “Obviously not the news I was hoping for. But my focus is now on a full and speedy recovery!

“Thank you for all the messages. All the best to the boys for tomorrow #YNWA."

Liverpool host Everton in the early kickoff on Saturday.
