Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers insists his group is completely committed to winning the FA Cup this season.
The Reds dropped seven points behind fourth-placed Manchester City after Saturday's 4-1 Premier League loss to Arsenal suggesting their Champions League hopes are now dashed.
However, there is still the dangling carrot of the cup in front of them and Rodgers had made it clear that the entire squad is after that particular piece of silverware as they prepare for the quarter-final replay against Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday.
"The group is committed to winning this trophy but Blackburn will be tough for us," said Rodgers ahead of the trip to Ewood Park.
"We are where we are. We're in fifth and up to now this season has been an up-and-down one.
"We have a lot of young players still adapting and learning, unfortunately. It's not a mental barrier.
"It's something we need to keep working at as a team. It's a very difficult challenge when you look at the four above us in the league."
