Liverpool could face Balotelli and Nice in Champions League qualifier

Liverpool has learnt the 10 teams they could potentially face in next year's Champions League qualifier.

The Reds must progress through a two-leg knockout tie to advance to the group stage.

Now that the European league competitions have finished, Jurgen Klopp has learnt which clubs could stand in their way.

The stand out is OGC Nice and Mario Balotelli, who finished an impressive third in Ligue 1 this past season. If Balotelli re-signs with Nice, he could relish the opportunity to exact revenge on the club that let him leave last summer.

The other potential opponents Liverpool could face are: Sporting Lisbon, CSKA Moscow, Viktoria Plzen, Steaua Bucharest, Young Boys, Istanbul Basaksehir, AEK Athens and Hoffenheim.
