Liverpool are willing to cough up big to land Chelsea winger Victor Moses - on loan.
The Daily Star says Brendan Rodgers is close to agreeing a season-long loan for the Chelsea winger.
Everton, Southampton, West Brom and German side Schalke were also keen on Moses, 22.
But a move to Anfield is the player's first choice.
And the Reds are poised to win the race after agreeing to stump up a £2m loan fee.
They are also expected to take on Moses' £55,000-a-week wages for the year.
