Liverpool are moving for Lille striker Gervinho.
The Daily Mail says Liverpool have sounded out Lille forward Gervinho about a move to Anfield.
Roy Hodgson hopes to add a versatile forward to the squad before kicking off their Barclays Premier League campaign on August 15 and the new Anfield boss is an admirer of the Ivory Coast international.
However, with an initial transfer budget of £15million until others leave, Liverpool would have to knock down the £12.5m asking price.
