Reports suggest that Liverpool are in advanced negotiations with Manchester City target Jordon Ibe over a new five-year deal.

Ibe, 19, has made 12 appearances for Brendan Rodgers' team since returning in January from a loan spell at Championship side Derby County.

He was reportedly close to signing with the Reds last month before City were credited with an interest but now it is believed that the formalities on a new deal are being finalised with the Reds to announce the deal next week.
