Liverpool are closing in on a deal for Sporting Lisbon defender Tiago Ilori.
The Daily Mail says Liverpool are also negotiating a deal for young Sporting centre-back Ilori as they continue their summer rebuilding.
Brendan Rodgers has already brought Kolo Toure to Anfield on a free transfer from Manchester City in an attempt to add experience to the team following the retirement of Jamie Carragher.
