Liverpool are reportedly nearing a deal for Anderlecht's Samuel Bastien.

Italian publication Irpinia News suggests that the Reds have come to an agreement with the Belgian club for the 19-year-old midfielder.

Bastien spent last season on loan with Italian Serie B side Avellino and is reportedly seen as one for the future by Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool hierarchy, who could send him out for more first-team experience next term.

It is understood that Bastien would cost Liverpool up to £4.6million.
