Liverpool closing deal for Exeter prospect Ben Chrisene

Liverpool are moving for Exeter City prospect Ben Chrisene.

The Sun on Sunday says Chrisene is just 15 and spent time training with the club after representing England Under 15s in a recent clash with Belgium at St George's Park.

It is believed that Christene was also a guest of the club for their Champions League quarter-final against Portuguese side FC Porto, which the Reds won 2-0, reports devonlive.com.

City will no doubt hope to keep hold of the talented youngster, but as he is not under contract, he would be able to head to Anfield with a compensation package either agreed between the two clubs, or set by a tribunal.

The Grecians have a stellar reputation within the game for producing good young footballers and have see the likes of Matt Grimes, Ollie Watkins and Ethan Ampadu come through, break into the first team and be sold for a considerable sum by the club.
