Liverpool are lining up a move for Wolfsburg defender Simon Kjaer.
Jyllands Posten says Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish and sports chief Damien Comolli plan to travel to Germany to make a personal check on Kjaer.
The Denmark international has long been linked with a move to the Premier League since his early days with Palermo.
Dalglish wants a top class centre-half signing in the summer and is now seriously considering Kjaer.
Kjaer's agent, Mikkel Beck, also has close ties to England thanks to his days as a striker with Middlesbrough.
