Schalke midfield sensation Max Meyer is on the radar of Premier League clubs.

The Daily Star Sunday says Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal will have to dig into deeper pockets if they want to capture the 'German Messi'.

Chelsea wanted to buy him more than a year ago for £12million.

Meyer said: "I seem to be so much in demand. It's flattering because it's confirmation that you are doing well.

"But I'm enjoying myself at Schalke."
