Liverpool chasing Ipswich midfielder Bishop

Liverpool are chasing Ipswich Town midfielder Teddy Bishop.

The Mirror says Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is determined to win the race for the £10m-rated teen.

The Reds made an enquiry about signing Bishop this month, but were told he is not for sale. However, Ipswich's stance is expected to soften in the summer.

The Tractor Boys, whose other prized asset, defender Tyrone Mings, is a target for Arsenal, are bracing themselves for offers for Bishop once the season is over.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham are also among Bishop's admirers and have had him watched regularly this season.
