Liverpool are chasing Espanyol midfielder Luca Vazquez for the summer market.
Vazquez is on-loan at Espanyol from Real Madrid.
Marca says Espanyol have a purchase option for the player for 3 million.
The Spanish club's idea is to capitalise on this right, to then sell the player on for a higher price.
