Liverpool chairman Tom Werner saluted the team as they won the Carabao Cup on Sunday.
The Reds were victorious at Wembley against Chelsea, winning in extra time through a Virgil Van Dijk header.
After the 1-0 success, chairman Werner spoke about his joy at seeing the players lift another trophy.
“We're enjoying today," he told talkSPORT.
The Liverpool chairman then added: “Just the resilience, the commitment in all of those players who wouldn't normally be in the first-team.
“And how about (goalkeeper Caoimhin) Kelleher? Brilliant.
“Of course (I'm proud). And with the injuries that this club has had, they are fighting and it has been a terrific day."
